Paraglottic Space

Paraglottic space the space on each side of the glottis bounded laterally by the perichondrium of the thyroid cartilage and the cricothyroid membrane and posteriorly by the mucous membrane of the pyriform sinus.
Paraglottic space. This region of adipose tissue containing blood vessels and nerves immediately adjacent to the thyroid laminae was originally defined by tucker and smith 1962.
