How Far Does Space Go

It consists of billions of stars gas clouds dark matter black holes neutron stars and planets with a supermassive black hole in the galactic center.
How far does space go. But that is only 380 000 light years away. How far can voyager i go. The spacecraft will run out of power around 2025 but where will it travel to first. It is time not space which limits our view.
Some people have suggested space may by infinitely large. It contains all the light we will ever be able to see because when we look across space we are mostly looking for light. We don t yet know how far it extends out. The observable universe can even be measured.
For all practical purposes space ends at the event horizon we call the big bang. By the same token space is often defined as beginning at the lowest altitude at which satellites can maintain orbits for a reasonable time which is approximately 160 kilometers 100 miles above. And it is the youngest because it is a snapshot of our newborn universe long before the first stars and galaxies formed. The bright patterns show clumps of simple matter that will eventually form stars and galaxies.
Space is what people normally refer to as 100 kilometers above the surface of the earth. Outer space does have borders but scientists are not yet sure exactly where they are. From afar our galaxy seems dense but in reality the average distance between stars is 47 trillion kilometers. Practically we can see as far back as the cosmic microwave background.
