Heroku private spaces. With heroku private spaces companies no longer have to choose between the experience and success of the cloud and stringent security controls making heroku ready for the most demanding enterprise applications. With spaces you can build modern apps with the powerful heroku developer experience and get enterprise grade secure network topologies. Access to apps in a private space can be controlled at the network level. The vpc must use a compatible ipv4 cidr block in its network configuration.

They are currently available only in heroku enterprise. A private space part of heroku enterprise is a network isolated group of apps and data services with a dedicated runtime environment provisioned to heroku in a geographic region you specify. Connections are established over the public internet but all traffic is encrypted using ipsec. Private spaces are dedicated environments for running dynos and certain types of add ons within an isolated network.

Private spaces are currently available only in heroku enterprise. Combine paas with enterprise grade network control features. This lets dynos connect to hosts on your private networks and vice versa. This connection does not traverse the public internet.

Heroku private spaces and shield spaces can configure a connection to another private network using ipsec vpn. Private space peering enables you to establish a private network connection between dynos running in a heroku private space and an aws vpc you control.
