Character Spacing In Word

On the home tab click the dialog box launcher in the font group.
Character spacing in word. Click the spacing list arrow click an option and then specify a point size to expand or condense spacing by the amount. To change the spacing between characters in word select the text you want to change and either. Selecting a value here will change your line spacing and apply it to the selected text. Expand or condense the space evenly between all the selected characters select the text that you want to change.
Click the advanced tab. Click the position list arrow. Go to home font and click the font dialog launcher. On the advanced tab go to the spacing dropdown and select expanded or condensed depending on whether you want the letters further apart or closer together.
If you want to manually put in a number you can select line spacing options at the bottom of the drop down menu. Select a line spacing value. On the home tab click the font dialog box launcher and then click the advanced tab. Your options here include 1 0 1 15 1 5 2 0 2 5 and 3 0.
Click the home tab. In the font dialog. Change character spacing select the text you want to format. Select all the text at the bottom of the page that doesn t quite fit.
Click the font dialog box launcher. Right click and select font. The font dialog box opens.
